STEAL !!! You can get $500 taking that over the scale if it still had as motor trans and axles in it. He's selling it for scrap price. Someoene jump on it.

I've already sent an email, waiting for a response.

C'mon dude, respond to email !!!

Well, that was a waste of time.

First of all, it wasn't an 87'. I asked the guy what year it was (after I looked at the Texas inspection sticker that said 81' chevy), and he said it was an 84'. Had door panels for the 73-80 style door, so doors probably aren't original or the Texas inspection year is wrong too. Engine fired right up and ran good, but had a nice spun bearing making nasty sounds from the oil pan area. Had those ugly fake stainless steel AN hoses under the hood for all sorts of stuff, very poorly done, incorrect fan shroud zip-tied to the core support. The entire interior and exterior were poorly sprayed, they didn't mask anything. Tires were practically bald. It did have hydroboost brakes though.

I wouldn't have cared about the interior or the spun bearing if it was truly an 87', since I just wanted a beater. Had it been an 87', I would've just swapped my TBI 305 and 700R4 into it and driven the wheels off of it. I just wish people would spend 10 minutes to figure out what they have so they can create an accurate add and not waste other people's time.

Just checked craigslist again and it looks like he did at least update the ad to reflect that it's an 81'.

Huh...Well, it's not my old piece of chit...

Being a SWB< it is kinda worth $500...I would have bought it for the frame and cab if I still had my square.

Yeah, I know. It's just not quite what I'm looking for right now. I've already got a project, haha. I was hoping to just throw a trans in it and drive it.
