Lots of 4x4 Burbs for under $1000 in TX that run. Rust probably isn't to bad either. This is why I am likely going to end with 4x4 Burb instead of a K5. A K20 Burb would be even better.

Looking at that I am wondering the fabs needed to make a newer style bed to fit an older style frame, I am sure they got to be at least a little bit different.

Probably a little bit but I see that mod quite a bit. I don't like it at all but I see it. In fact, my wife's uncle has a 74 with a GMT400 sport side bed on it and a ZR-1 roll pan. Overall it's a nice lookin truck (he's been doing body work for over 30 years) but his mods are not always my cup of tea. He's also shaved the front turn signal lights that are below the headlights on the 73-79's. He's put GMT400 door handles into the door. He's shaved the side marker lights on the front fenders....... None of these I'm really a big fan of really

Where the hell does he put the front signals frrom the 73-79's? I can't even imagine what that would look like.

I don't think he has any and not sure how he passes inspection like that but he does. I'll have to take a pic of it next time I see it. It looks odd to me.
