If we go anywhere that requires a walk longer than a few hundred feet, my wife needs her power chair due to bad knees. :)

She said after this experience, "**** a knee replacement, if they get worse, I'm using my wheelchair!"

I could barely get it into the Mazda, getting it into a SB would likely be worse.

You just need to get you one of those receiver hitch back porches and drive it up on it. When she is not with you, just pull the pin and pull the porch off. I dated a chick that used a wheelchair for a year and that worked great. It was my idea and she loved it. She had scholiosis and a curve in her spine, so it was hard for her to walk at times. She walked in the house, but was in fear of falling in public, so she says. I thnk it was more cuz she was lazy.

I'd been thinking about that. The van doesn't have a trailer hitch (nor did the Mazda) and I am not too keen about even using a hidden hitch on the SB. I just picked up a new free temp-s-spare from a Caprice Classic so the spare doesn't show under the bed, plus I'll be using a reel type spare holder from a new truck. :)

It doesn't have to be a hidden hitch. Just a standard receiver that bolts to the rear section of the frame. I am thinking you can still use the spare tire carrier too.
You know of all the damn trucks I have, not a one has the spare tire carrier and I want at least 2 of them to have it. The burb, has a spot in the back back for the spare tire with a cover over it.

#2. Selling becuase i decided to sell it.thats it. And its Fo bu Fo, and TBI. I want it. I'd pay $1200 IF I HAD IT, for 4x4 Burb in running conidtion and little rust.

Yeah, definitely looks pretty solid especially for $1200. I'd have to get a closer look at the rockers, though. Sometimes those running boards, if not installed right, can cause the rockers to rot away pretty quickly.

I don't even care about the rockers since I have a rust free Burb 2wd. All I am really looking for is a 4x4 roller frame only for a Burb. Even just a good frame on roller would work. I can use the front axles out of one of the pickups and I have the 3/4 Burb with Full FLoat 3.73 rear end. Just transfer that stuff to 4x4 frame and install front axle. But for the labor, it would be nice if the body was good. That would sure save mega labor. But I gotta quit loking anyway. I need to be funds into projects to start and finish instead of shopping for more projects. I am beggining to think I might need some intervention. :happy175:

NOT !!! For those who think I got to many SBs.... :Moon::Moon::Moon: :flipthebird:

I didn't know there was a such thing as too many SB's! :) If not for the wife I'd definitely have more than just the one I got now....
