Just a heads up here for anyone who may be building a 700r4 or 4L60-E trans and wants to upgrade to a 5 pinion planet. Be cautious of losers like this. The OEM is the one and only 5 pinion planet you'd want to use. The aftermarket 5 pinion planets are actually weaker than the OEM 4 pinion planets that are currently installed in these transmissions. So don't fall for this ****.

I just fuggin hate people who mislead that way. A guy new to building transmissions wouldn't know this and would buy that piece of **** part when its inferior to what he'd be taking out of the trans. There is absolutly no market for this part when the OEM 4 pinion that comes in all 700r4 / 4L60-E transmissions since 1982 is stronger than this piece of junk. So not only did you waste your $120, you downgraded your transmission. This is also why experience pays off. I knew just by looking at the pic as soon as I clicked on the ad that is wasn't OEM. The sad part is, the guy sells some good parts at a good price and I have about 7 other items of his selected on my watch list to purchase for my 700r4 build, but after I seen this, F him. I won't spend a nickel with the *****. I also emailed him and told his part was junk and ad was misleading and that all those items showing a watcher on his end, will disappear now because he isn't getting any of my money. I'll spend the $20 more and get all the same parts from another seller on Ebay, that is reputable and isn't misleading.

Boy oh Boy did I ever get told !!! I emailed that piece of crap, and he responded back. Can you believe he told me not to purchase anything from him after I called him out on his piece of junk and misleading advertsing. See below, what I sent, then his response. :roflbow::roflbow::roflbow: Now this is a loser that can "lick my sack" !!!

Dear ctpowertrain,

I must say I am a bit disappointed. Here I was adding several 700r4 parts you have listed to my watch list for when I build my super 700r4 for a 4x4 extreme duty trans, then I come across this part advertised as OEM because it has lube slots and I can tell by the pic alone it wasn't OEM, then read further and all the fine minor details, and at least you did FINALLY mention its NOT OEM but like OEM. Just seems to be very misleading to me and I won't be buying any of the other parts either. BTW, that part is NOT like OEM either. As I said, I can tell just by looking at the pics its not. Crap like this is what makes doing internet biz hell. Had I made this purchase, it would have been my own fault for not reading every minor detail in the ad. I know what I want and need, I shouldn't have to waste my time reading every detail. There are many people who don't the differacne in OEM and Junk and would fall for you misleading crap and that's really to bad, because they are getting ripped off. hotrodpc

His Response:

Dear hotrodpc,

Hello,
Yes the Art of Reading as hard as it may be it is taken for granted by most but yet so Very Hard for others. If you would employ that Fine Art you would Read in the Listing title that we say "OEM Stlye" not OEM Delco and the picture even show it to not be Delco and we also Clearly list it as AFTERMARKET in the Item Specifics.

The Fact is that these are Better then AC Delco and far better Quality and a Fair price.

By the feel and RED Flag of your Ebay message we would like to Thank you Very, Very much for your Future Non-Purchase and have a nice day.

And do you think I didn't respond to that??? HEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Yes I did !!!

NO sweat, I won't buy a thing, and I had a list going of about 7 items going from your other items list since I like to find a supplier and get all my trans parts from 1 place, til I seen that. No its not a fine art of reading its a fine art of misleading the public or the unexperienced that wouldn't know.any differant. Many people are not aware that 5 pinion unit isn't even as strong as the OEM 4 pinion, and if you really thinks it stronger, put your money where your mouth is and prove it. Send me one for free, let me put it in my build and if I don't have it shattered in one weekend, I'll send you double the price. I break it, you send my $500 for my labor to rebuild my trans again and OEM 5 Pinon sprag at no cost. Granted its got only 1 step above the other aftermarket with the oilers and that's it. Not better than OEM. But, don't listen to me, I am just one person. But I also belong to several off road, drag race, truck & suv and transmission forums with many thousands of members and if you don't think they don't listen to me, you'd be mistaken being I am the trans guru on those sites. So who do you think gets all the questions about the transmission troubleshooting, building and beefing up for extreme autosports? Yep, that would be me, I send people links with what to buy and from who on a daily basis, if not from one forum then another or another. Its not rocket science. Good Luck

hahaha, you must be a Noob 89 Sub. I have seen a couple of your posts today, so you either been here awhile and don't participate much or new. At any rate, nice to meet or hear from you. Nice Burb !!! You can put your popcorn down. Show is over. I think I TeaBagged him with that last reponse and have no intention of continuing to argue. I hate doing things lile that anyway, but if it keeps 1 person from being ripped off, then I'm happy. Strangely the guy had some other good products at decent prices and had 100% positive feedback, but that ad was just dirty IMO. And someone who didn't know any better would have bought it. So if I tell someone to get an OEM 5 pinion rear planet and they buy that one, then Im the one who looks like a ******* when their trans blows at the track on launch when they hit the giggly juice.

I just joined this week Dawg. It was fun reading that, but if ya keep at it Ebay will bust your balls. You made your point, and walked away good job. The power of feedback is really strong over there, I have brought a few sellers to thier knees over there when they piss me off, haha...
