I wonder how he put that Pontiac in there. Did he fab up some mounts, buy aftermarkets, or weld butcher some crap in? Not sure if you are aware, but I have a 68 Olds 455 that I want to put in a SB. I intend to use motor pads I got out of an 80 Model GMC that had the junky 5.7 350 Olds Diesel in it originally. Then was converted to Olds 350 Gas. So useing those motor pads, I can use Olds 455 mounts. Then build the Olds trans using the short threaded truck output shaft and have it just like a factory bolt in set up. It'll be a scootin mo fo and put this 84 C20 454/Turbo 400 to shame.

nice truck but not worth anywhere near $8K.

I think for 8k you could find a show quality classic or maybe something really bad ass to take to the strip. Sure my truck is a total piece of **** so I really shouldn't comment on others trucks but when someone thinks their truck is worth that much I cant hold back. Here's what I noticed just from pictures... I could only imagine what you could find looking at it in person.

Front bumper appears to be bent a little bit.
Bumper is missing 2 chrome bolts in front.
Its a less desirable long bed C10.
Front part of bed is all dinged and bent to ****.
Old ****** rear window rubber.
Missing lug nuts and even valve stem caps.
Door panel looks like its deteriorating.
Missing brake pedal rubber pad.
Gauge bezel looks like ****.
Upper radiator hose looks like a ****** dryer vent.

And a 700r4 doesn't have a BOP bellhousing. I know there's adapter plates for that. I think Ken Keefer (Pontiac Dud) of Brooksville, Fl has motor mounts available.
