This thing might as well be gold plated, I cant wrap my head around it. If you have a job using an impact gun enough to justify spending 1k on one how could you afford to spend 1k on one single tool, I dont know any mechanics that would drop that much money on an impact gun.

Im sure it is top notch quality but.... I can almost guarantee an impact wrench I buy for under 100 bucks will hit within 75% of the torque the Snap on one has.

Commercial Duty Big Rig Mechanics use those on Big Rigs and biggo honkin earth mover Cats, I've also seen them used on jobsite on biggo cranes too. And also those big mining trucks you are familiar with. That's about it. No need to have one to work on a car or light to medium truck.

Looks to be a commercial duty Phase 2 unit there.

Thats what it looks like to me, a similar unit in my buddies body shop went for about 5k when he sold it. **** for 200 bucks I could either get it wired up to work wherever I move to or sell that thing and make some serious cash.

I would rather keep it and put a splitter on it and run two DA sanders at once and as much as I want. All my wife's free time could be helping me sand **** off my truck since she's always complaining about the patina :patriot:

Ebay had a No list fee sale last week, so I decided to list my Olds 425 forged crank since I sold the block for $200, and this thing has a gouge in it that it needs to be turned and cleaned up. It sold for $51 and $50 shipping. And its likely to cost about $80 to have turned. Still a good deal for someone for an Olds 425/Early 400 Crank. The cheapest I have seen one ready to go that was used and turned, and it was a .020/.030 grind, was $365.

Yep, and I don't have rods and pistons to work with it, so may as well move it. I'm going with 455 instead since its more common and I happen to have 2 blocks, 2 cranks, and 2 set of rods for 455.

5/8 ton? I never heard of that.

Probably what was the Heavy Half. A half ton with a bit stiffer spring is probably all it amounts too.

That guy in that post is a retard. Why not just say that? "Rare 5/8 ton" sounds stupid, because he/she/it is stupid too. :flipthebird:

Most owners of vehicles know nothing about what they're driving other than what the build sheet may say and that if they put gas in it, it's supposed to let them go places....
