Another one.. instantly mad lol. I offered $150. Told him that's what he would get for scrap. At least around here last year, havent been lately.

The nv4500 in there is worth more than 1000$

The drw 14 bolt or Dana 70 is also worth more than 150$

Edit: assuming it's got a rear axle. He did say manual transmission, but I think 1992 is the first year of the nv4500, so maybe it's just a sm465.

If it did have a nv4500 and 1 ton axle, I would buy it for 900$ and flip both and get more money back + scrap the body

Stuff around here doesn't sell like other states. People ask eBay prices here and they sit forever. Was mainly pointing out the "im taking it to scrap" guy.

No worries, I understood. Just another lazy ******* seller lol.

I sat on an engine and trans for at least three years for $100, because I didn't want it to go to scrap. Even with the tire kickers I sold it for $100. It had all the accessories and everything, it was worth more than $100 but still took three years here lol

I recently had to be realistic with myself and decide what was just junk, what I'd never use, and what was actually worth keeping.

I hauled off alot of scrap Metal (3tons) and several trailer loads to the landfill of non metallics.
Alot of it was squarebody era stuff that was either too far gone, too far beat, or too far rusted to consider saving.

I kept onto things for a long long time, but I finally had to regain control of my property and get all the junk and junk trucks off the property so I can room for more junk that's worth saving.

There was crap I forgot I owned until I cleaned up the patches of high grass and weeds and revealed it

All the fancies and little odds and ends that are hard to find or invaluable in OEM condition I stored away, the body panels, engine parts, engines, transmissions, and plastic hardware i kept are mostly stored away in various locations.

But I just don't think I can keep junk anymore lol

Sounds good. I wouldn't be shocked if we have it here. When I get to Sheetz in the next few days, I'll take a peek at everything and let you know.

To be honest, we get more things from the Morgantown WV area than we even do Pittsburgh here in our little corner of the state.
Heres the papershop. I kept forgetting!

No problem. I'll take a look again at Sheetz and also our local Sunoco. I didn't see it at first glance but I will check again.

Seems like an arrogant *****. I believe that's maybe 250-300 in scrap around here though.

Exactly the type of person to make that ad lol.

It's probably around $200 now. Last time i went was last year, but our main scrapyard doesn't take vehicles as far as I know, we've got a junkyard in town that takes em, but it's not open to the public to scavenge.

Ted, it is definitely a regional resource for your area. I found this on their site.

However, it looks like it is distributed in Broome County NY. I'll look for it when we are there next weekend.

Looks like some inexpensive fun and not something you see everyday, but I wouldn't give over $2500.

That's not actually a bad price at all if it is in fact as rust free as it looks. You never see something like that at those prices in the north east.
