yeah, no kidding. It's not uncommon to see those tanks relocated somewhere else just for that reason. That's one design that I'm not sure why anyone ever thought it was a good idea. I don't like having highly flammable liquid that close to my person

I guess you just hope that cap never goes bad and starts letting fumes evaporate! Just the fumes of the gasoline is highly flammable

Have a cop run the VIN and go from there.

In Ohio, you had to send a certified letter to the last registered owner, if they didn't respond in 30 days, you were issued a new title.

Here, you can get a bonded title, you get a bond for the price of the car, take it to the DMV, fill out some forms and get a title. In 3 years it becomes a clear title.

The ad says previous owner lost it, so I know I would have to track them down and get them to file for a replacement and try and get the title transfered, which I am sure will be next to impossible if this ******* doesn't have the title, damn it.
