What's wrong with Carfax?

Nothing. It has it's uses but would YOU really truck a carfax claim on a vehicle from 1986 claiming 16k original miles? Carfax wasn't even around or even close to it at that point let alone capable of capturing much data about a vehicle of that age LOL

A bit pricey though isn't it? Maybe an original, but still shows it's age. Maybe $4000 tops. I know I'm a cheap bastard but actually $3000 is more like it IMO.

Yeah, I'd agree that it probably is a bit over priced. I'm thinking the guy probably overpriced a little bit to take into account the CL low ballers LOL I'm in love with how solid it appears to be. I'd probably be willing to get it for $4K or so. At $3k I'd almost feel like I stole it

Neat 1970 car/truck. Too bad the truck body is mounted on a car frame. I guess that makes it a street truck and not a hauler.

All that work when he could have lowered the stock frame with similar results. I doupt it will handle much better. My 71 handled fine for as heavy as it was once you got the hang of the over and under steer.

I agree. Even my '65 handles pretty well without swaybars. With swaybars it's really nice, and that's at stock height.

My 71 was stock heavy duty springs with a sway bar on the front. What I lacked in cornering I made up for with acceleratoin and braking between. WOT baby! "Or stomp n steer!"
