Yup, But Daves truck looks like one of those that did not have the air system. Its crazy out here to, some of the 87+ TBI sqaures had pumps, some didnt...same
when the GMT 400s came out...and the emissins stickers said they were California compliant. It confuses the **** outta me.

Yup, thought I was saving some money by doing it myself, then my buddies at NAPA told me about a retired GM tech in town that is their carburetor guy...hes bushing my TBI. for $25....talk about adding insult to injury. I did have the proper reamers when I was doing carbs 10 years ago...gotta watch who borrows your tools!

I haven't seen them either, must have been a California thing. Although I have seen them on 3100's, 3400's, 4.3's, etc and they were electric pumps.

It is also possible, and I don't know, just saying it's possible, they have AIR injected to the Cat but not the manifolds. I do beleive my 93 E 350 7.5 460 CU IN is this way. It has 2 AIR lines to the Converter. 1 in each bed of the dual bed conveter so it appears.

So much for going by a torque spec on the header bolts. The 2 bolts used a torque wrench on came loose as the others are still good and tight. The others I just turned the wrench til I couldnt turn it anymore probably like 50ft pounds. The gibson said to torque them to 30 ft pounds.

that or maybe you should stop going by every little single thing instructions or your teacher says.

Some guys follow things by the book to the T and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Others like me do their own thing and if it works good, if not you redo it.

Red threadlocker and tighten "till it feels right" leave the torque wrench in the drawer for engine building.

I thought he meant a th350c trans at first lol.

I've heard of a 350M but I just call em 350's.

I know ford has a 351 w, for windsor, 351 m for modified and 351 c for cleveland.
