Never heard of it.
The 305-cubic-inch (5.0 L) 305 had a 4.25 in (108 mm) bore and 3.58 in stroke (90.9 mm). The 305 V6 was the standard pickup truck engine for GMC from 1960 to 1966, and was one of the first V6 engines produced by an American company.
ahhhhh.......I've seen the light! Thanks O77!!
A brief description of the 305 v6 motor....
I'm pretty sure the "c" should not be on there but there was a 305 v6 for a few years.
Nope, its supposed to be there, i dont know what it stands for, but I saw an old factory manual that had the c on it. GMC also had a 302ci inline 6 stovebolt engine.

I'll believe ya Yeah, I've heard of the 302 stovebolt motor. There's a club that attends our truck show every year called "The Stovebolters" and all are enthusiasts of the 3012 stovebolt motor.
I can get a picture of a 305c engine for anybody who wants to see what it looks like.
That is nothing more than 2 GMC motors made into one. It's not joined, it's actually manufactured that way. That is 2 GMC 351's into 2 of them. Same rods, pistons and heads.
