0wow 16 I think my tbi 88 gets better then that and I got 3.42's with 39 inch tires, or did have. Plus th350 no OD.

I'd look more into some plugs wires, full tune up etc.

I think cold air is a waste these trucks already have cold air factory.

oh yea on top of my mileage I got open element sucking in nothing but hot air.

I already replaced plugs, wires, cap, and rotor back in october just before I did the CFI to MFI conversion. On CFI iwas getting around 300 miles on a 26 gallon tank. Since I'm on MFI now I get 330 miles on a 26 gallon tank on the highway.

Hook up a vac gauge in the cab, and try to keep the reading as high as possible, and run max pressure in your tires to keep rolling resistance low.

You mean a external vac gauge from a auto parts store? Tire pressure is at 35psi. I went by the door stick since I didnt change tire sizes.

Yup from a parts store. You want to keep the vacuum as high as possible.
But i just remembered that your truck is OBD2, and you can get one of those fancy doohickies to tell you MPG that plugs into your diagnostic port.

And the vac guage he was reffering to, is not a tire pressure guage. Its an aftermarket guage where you hook a vac line to a vac port somewhere on the intake, and run the line into the cab and mount the guage like you would any other aftermarket guage. If you drive by one of those, you really do save fuel. It makes you more concious of jack rabbit starts etc.
