Just signed up. I’m here to learn and this looked like a good place to start. I’m recently retired and after having had a company pickup for most of the last 40 years, I found myself in need of a pickup. My sons had a squarebody in the past and one I liked the looks of turned up nearby. It was supposed to be running and drivable but it was a no-start when I went to check it out. Rust, other than the bed floor, appears minimal.
AAA was kind enough to send a tow vehicle large enough to pick up the whole 20.5’ of it! Here it is delivered to the apron in front of my shop.
1991 GMC C3500 3+3 CrewCab with 8’ bed. Showing almost a quarter million miles on the odometer.
Time to start from the ground up to get it back on the road.
Thanks to those who provide this forum as a resource for guys like me to get through these projects!
