Hi, I was jumping my 86 c10 a few weeks because I left the key on and I blew out a fusible link. Got that fixed and for a day or so everything worked great again (or as great as stuff works in an old truck) but then my brake lights, turn signals, and aftermarket tach quit working and I can’t seem to find anything wrong. Any ideas? Thanks!

Take a 12volt test light, ground the clip to a good ground. Then test for voltage on both sides of each fuse. Lots of times you'll have an electrical problem and the O.P says I already checked my fuses. SO, A good fuse means nothing in a dead circuit I have a feeling you are going to find 1 or 2 fuses with no power to them.

I did find one burnt fuse which was my tach and I also found when I burnt out my fusible like I must’ve also burnt out both tail lights and the flasher so I replaced all that and now everything works again! Thanks!

Before doing anything, push and pull the hazard switch a few times. See if that fixes anything.

Check for power on the purple wire of the turn signal switch. No power? Check the fuse, try a different flasher.

Check for power on the orange wire of the brake switch. If you have power, push the brake pedal and check for power at the white wire of the brake switch. If you have power at the white wire, check for power at the white wire at the turnsignal switch while pressing the brake. If you don’t have power on the white wire, replace the brake switch. If you have power at the white wire of the turn signal switch, while pressing the brake pedal check for power on the yellow and green wires of the turn signal switch. No power? Replace the turn signal switch.
