I just didn't do enough research first or I would have put the 1" block in it when I was working on it. That's the only thing I don't like, it looks a little low in the back.

But I can fix that, when I can find time.

I'm not sure why they do it but I've seen a few suspension manufacturers set the front suspension higher than the rear. Maybe so it's automatically sold as a kit that accommodate a larger engine or heavier front bumper with a winch? It seems to be a one-size-fits-all marketing thing.

The wheel openings on these trucks can make the truck look low in the rear when it's really sitting level. I just assume the truck is level if the top of the box sides are level. From the picture of that nice looking truck you posted I'd say maybe your bed and cab are not lining up correctly. It looks like the bed is sitting lower. It that's the case just shimming up the bed so it makes a straight body line between cab and bed will go a long ways to creating an equal look.

Damn fat fingers.

...and you're right the bed is a little low in that picture, but it's ground it is sitting on. I have a dump on it so the bed will "flex" a lot more than normal.

Well the picture is a little older, I have the stainless tripods on there now. I hated the little sport mirrors, couldn't see anything your pulling.

Somebody had on here a post about heated dumbo mirrors on the 90s vans. apparently they bolt right on.

My pops likes the old tripod mirrors.

Thanks it's been handy throughout the years. I'm going to have to start saving up for a paint job before to long though. Factory paint is getting real thin.

Pictures can hide a lot, that paint looks great from this distance. Still, it's a really nice truck.
