I drove the wagon to the Columbus Goodguys show today, I went with a buddy and his '69 Camaro. When I got home, there was shenanigans in the driveway.

Dang! I missed my chance to check this thing out! We were there, but busy enough that I didn't get away from the booth much either day. Sunday was the only day I got to walk around a good bit

Well dang, I didn't know you were there! I definitely would have tried to meet up with you, especially since I couldn't make it happen last year.

It didn't even dawn on me to hit you up before we left. Life's been so crazy lately, maybe next year lol

I was considering buying a '73 SS back in 1981. It was way less expensive that what they're asking for that one. But even then, being a Northern Indiana car, it had almost as much rust.

I've actually thought about using a Holley 2bbl myself on one of my builds, but I have so many things to build and so many ideas. The reason for the Holley 2bbl would be adapt it to a factory TBI manifold. I think it would be very effecient,I'm betting GM did their homework on torque and efficiency on the TBI manifold. For my 86 I've often thought, 90 Burb exhaust,700r4,stone stock TBI 350, knock sensor HEI and Holley 2BBL. I bet it would get surprising mpg and still be a good work truck
Andy looks like this is getting moved higher on the priority list, what Holley 2BBL are you running? Is it off an old 351,302,390 etc. Got a TBI needing minimal work and may stab it in the 86 TBI manifold and all.

I don't have the list # handy, but despite being removed from a Ford (I think he said 351 in a Cougar, maybe) it turned out to be the standard, universal replacement type 2bbl. The one that is still available today.

I've still been extremely happy with how well it performs, even cold starts in freezing weather.

I once made a carb adapter to run a Holley 300 cfm 2 barrel on my 1971 Powerflaggon 318 that had a carter 2 barrel. The adapter was pretty cool and worked really good. Was about 1-1/2" tall. painted it blue. Old blue

Here's an article about the '73 SS wagon with some pictures. Probably nothing you don't already know, but I thought of you immediately when I saw it.
