Axle Help

Hey guys it’s not related to a Squarebody but i need help identifying a axle. I understand it’s a 10 bolt but don’t know if it’s the 8.5 or 8.2 possibly other one. this is a picture of the axle cover if it helps. thanks for any help guys

What's it in? Looks very 7.5/7.625 from here. 8.5 has a bulge for the ring gear and 8.2 has a horizontal crease.

2004 GMC sierra 1500 i believe. trying to help a friend buy parts to fix but he doesn’t know much about cars and i don’t know enough about the newer axles.
