Oh, okay. Then I need ot for my 85.

Is it the passenger side or the drivers side aux tray?

This is the drivers side from my 85.

That's what I used for my swap in my 82 k5 to move the batt to the driver's side. Came from a diesel square.

Factory single battery from square days would normally be passenger side battery just a GM TRENd. camper specials, cucv, diesel, etc I have no idea if there was a tule for it but assume driver side for a aux tray

The 85 this one came from was once a diesel. I've been looking for a drivers side for the 73. Haven't been able to find what I wanted, so, I made one.

Right, the 73-80 parts are harder to find.
Here's what mine looks like installed.

This is what mike looks like so far. I'm using the original 01 fuse box.

I have a diesel blazer (CUCV), that's a twin battery 24v system, but both batteries are on the passenger side.

Will that engine cover work on a 2001 5.3?

Right, the military version puts both on the right side. Probably easier to put them in series to gain 24v.

Mine is specifically from an Escalade 6.0. The 5.3s have the standard vortec cover, just the center part which says vortec. The Denali also has a similar 3 piece cover but says vortec 6000

My donor came with the same fuse box as yours. I rewired mine and removed as much as possible. Also fabd a bracket to hold my computer.

also the room for that group size battery to fit, the driver side would be crowded lol

do you have any means to protect it from ESD?I would find one of those slim profile plastic holders that encases it with a air flow path so that its got a physical barrier, just in case
