Autozone 40th Anniversary SquareBody trucks

Went to 2 stores near me yesterday. They did not know anything about them. Said they get delivery today.

Well....missed out today. Went back to one of the stores, they told me a guy bought the only 2 they received today and that he told them he went to the other store and got their 2 also. I am pretty sure he will maybe keep one and sell others on ebay. He may have gone to other stores and got what they had. Sad that the stores only got 2 each.

I am happy to report my sister-in-law got on board and picked one up for me in Irving about 8 miles away. So I now have 1. That was all I wanted anyway.

I been looking for a nice replica toy SB but no luck. I love johnny lightnings but still no luck! I recently heard of green light but they dont mak them either. Im hunting for any 64 impalas or 73-79 chevy trucks.

Maybe Hallmark will step up. They do some nicely detailed trucks for ornaments but not a SquareBody yet. I remember a 55 Chevy pickup and a Dodge Lil Red Wagon that I think are still available.

You are lucky. Around here, stores are only getting 2 at a time and the lucky ones to get there first buy them both. Sad. I should have mine tonight or tomorrow from my sister-in-law.
