Where does the ashtray light get it's power from? I have the dash apart replacing dash light bulbs and noticed a white bulb holder with the wire that feeds the ashtray light just dangling there. (Forgot the technical name, perhaps fiber optics?) This bulb holder w/bulb, was just loose and I can't figure out where on the instrument panel it goes. Looks like it snaps in somewhere like the dash lights bulb holder but it's bigger.

Perhaps the HVAC panel? I replaced that also.

THanks

It plugs into the upper right inside of the dash panel (if you are looking at it from the seat) like a dash bulb socket ??
The "socket" is in the red circle.

Thanks PeteJr

You have a picture of the dash panel area it plugs into? That is indeed the bulb holder.

Thanks

It's in the back of the gauge cluster where the rest of the gauge lights plug in. It's the same plug as the rest. Insert and a quarter turn to lock it in.

It is the most "North East" hole to plug in the holder on the back of the printed circuit. (If looking at it from the seat)
Sorry, tried to upload photo but it's a no go.............

Thanks PeteJr
