This has been around the dirt bike scene for a while. Best in mini racing. But if you overheat it doesn't boil over and then you never know you're engine is cooking until it's... done.

That was literally my first thought while reading on the site. But if you've got a good eye on your temps, it still might be cool. Theoretically, I really like this idea.

At this point in motocross, I don't think the vibe is there anymore, popularity (never was huge) has waned.

It was also expensive, just to fill 3/4 quart for a mini, so imagine filling a truck with it...$$$$

That seems cool though because even if the temp does get higher, at least it won't boil and start spewing out and all that. Not good to overheat your engine either way, but I feel like it would be less of a problem if it wasn't boiling. Once your coolant starts to boil it basically loses all cooling ability, but with the waterless stuff because it doesn't boil the temp will be higher but will still be doing something. I'd rather my coolant be a little too hot than spewing out and bursting hoses and forming air pockets, etc. If you keep an eye on your gauges and make sure not to let the temp get sky high you might even make it home without damaging anything.
