Seems like pretty much every old farm square I see has sagging corners on the rear bumper surely somebody has figured out an easy way to get them straight again.

Takin my rear bumper off this week to give it some paint, and while I've got it off I wouldn't mind getting it a little...less sad looking, lol

Any pointers before I start beating on it?

For starters, I’d make sure that it’s your bumper doing all the sagging, and it’s not in a bind from the frame being squished in a little after backing into a tree, some rear ending you, etc. That happened in my Jimmy so I had to reeled the mounting point for one of the brackets so everything would align properly. It might not be that common of an occurrence on a pickup, and the bracketry is different, but it confused me for a bit when my brackets didn’t line up right at all.

Noted! I'll be sure to take a careful look. However, just at an obvious glance the bumper itself is noticeably warped down it's length, and you can see the metal bending in spots. So I'm pretty sure it's from a real fat guy jumping rope on the step

Not specifically of the bumper, but this is what I've got on hand at the moment. Old photos

That's from backing into things. To straighten it, you'll probably need a hook, a strap and a tree.

My wife tapped a tree practicing parallel parking and above method worked.

^Yep, just like that.

With that specific bumper in question, you'll hook up to the lower edge, out towards the corner. Then give it some gentle pull until it's straight, but before letting off the pressure, give the top of the bumper some good wacks with a sledgehammer and a block of wood. It may want some hits on top, right up against the bed, and then also towards the top of the rear face, hitting towards the bed. That will relieve some of the stress and help the bumper stay in place when you let the tension off the strap/cable/chain.

Well, if anyone stumbles across this thread, take note that as advised, the best and easiest solution is a little precision application of brute force.
