Hey everyone,
Anyone seen any quick and easy way to install a second tank on the 84 K10 on the forum?
Just thinking of maybe doing a lager tank or adding a second one, maybe one in the bed or doing the factory setup.
Don't want to buy a bed for the gas inlet so I'm up for y'alls ideers :)

Just do a suburban or blazer tank between the frame rails. Adds like 30gal or something like that

I took my saddle tanks out and had a 50 gal tank made for the bed. Works great, minus the smaller bed area.

Back in the day my dad had an auxiliary tank added. It is an aftermarket tank that fills through the wheel well. It hasn't been used in years and I am probably going to remove it this year. I do not have pics right now, sorry. I can get them if you like. And I do not know what brand or anything like that. The tanks are switched with a simple toggle switch and set-up like factory.

The fuel tank in your truck is used on both sides in a dual tank arrangement. They are less than $100 from RockAuto. Scrounge the hangers from a junkyard, add a selector valve and switch, and install a new tank and pickup. You'll have an OE arrangement that works properly with your fuel gauge and distributes weight equally to the other side of the truck.

You could put it behind the license plate and have a flip down license plate to fill it, I don't think it would be that difficult. My old caprice was setup like that it was sweet!

Lol! That falls under the getting creative category. There are many options besides in the floor, they just take some planning and modification.

If you do it behind the license plate you don't have to worry about cutting holes in the body haha. You could have it stick out in the wheel well but that doesn't look the greatest
