any ideas on installing a auxiliary fuel tank

You don't have to buy a new bed to install the factory set up. The most you'd have to do is have one of us cut one out of a bad bed we have, or go to a DIY junk yard and cut a door out of one of the beds. I'm going to be doing it one of mine here sooner or later. Or you could even get the hose and filler in the rear wheel well and just reach in, in front of the rear wheel with the nozzle.

No mean to hijack but mine is a TBI that has the fuel pump in the tank.

I want to do the blazer/suburban tank relocation but I am not for sure if my sending unit will fit the Sub/Blazer fuel tank.....

Great ideas, I got to do something to get more fuel before I do any traveling, I like to drive early and always doing something like going the back way through little small towns just to see what's there, My 84 had the duals on it so it wasn't a problem.
