So my dad shows up here in Wisconsin, having came up from Florida, he is a gear head, likes anything that rows and goes. He wrecked his replacement hip and bought a Harley Davidson trike, long story short he gave me his 2002 fxd dyna super glide. I've never riden before and he tells me its a great starter Harley. Im scared as hell

Hell yeah! Dont be scared, just be carefull. Biggest things to watch out for are other drivers and poor road surface(sand ect). Find some back roads n take it easy at first. U can do it, just like ridin a bike. ;):waytogo: Heres mine

Don’t let anyone rush you... don’t rush yourself. Stay in your comfort zone. Skill comes with experience. Watch out for the part of the street where gravel and dirt piles up. Low speed turns are number one causes of first year drops.

Doubt I’d qualify as a biker but I’ve owned and ridden this one for the last 20 years.

Hard to believe how fast the time has passed. Previous to this bike it had been over 20 years since I had owned a bike.

I bought my first road bike in the early 80's, rode dirt bikes before that. Rode through over 40 states including Alaska. Don't ride as much as I would like nowdays, seems like there is never time with all of my other projects, and in my old age I've become a fair weather rider

My first bike was a 75 goldwing. Had a few more after that.

Quit riding after being hit.

Say what you want but I love those 1000cc 4 cylinders.
