Installed new ujoints. Old ones just had rust left inside the caps. Ordered new carpet. Could have been just a simple window reseal but became a floor replacement due to neglect.

One of the filter bolts was in the pan along with some metal flake and random other pieces. At least now the pan is clean, while the rest of engine/trans coated with dirt/oil.

Threw my camaro seat in as temp. Easier to move around while getting the floors fixed. Also got a line on a 35lb of r12 locally. A bit pricy, but thinking of just getting it.

I am still trying to figure out why choke was removed. Too bad that I gave all of my parts quadrajets away. It runs very rich as well, and maybe that was the reason for choke removal? Motor has 882 heads, so it might be original 350 motor still in the car.

If you still have a good A6 compressor, I can't say enough good about the double lip shaft seal that can be installed in place of the ceramic shaft seal and 'bird cage' assembly (as well as later single lip seals).
It's funny that GM finally came out with a great front seal that fits compressors that were out of production. I've put this exact part number in V5, R4s and A6s.

I was debating with my self on changing that seal. Compressor is already an old reman.

Put together some spark plug wire holders. Also cleaned all of the spark plugs and found one iffy wire. Really need to deal with the carburetor.

Aftermarket pan has two areas raised more than factory. Did not fit stock cross member without cutting.

Glad you're using AMD. I've been interested in their panels and how they may or may not be better than some other offerings.

Needed to find choke parts for the carb and went a bit overboard.

I have been using amd as they are generally noted to be better, but had issued both on my 67 camaro and now on elco. Had to extend one side of trunk lid to fit the curve of their quarter on one side when installed on 67 camaro. And on elco had to cut and section two raised areas as they were raised too much
