My dads c10 has these aluminum door straps/handles. Was wondering if these are possibly a one off that were made or if anyone knows a company that sells them? Would love to get a set for my truck as well.

That's definitely a cool way of doing them. I was going to make some paracord ones but I'm liking this alot more.

They don't look like they stick out to far. Is it hard to get your hand in there and close. And not to sure why the italics won't shut off lol

They are not hard to get your hand in there, and of course feel nice in your hand when closing. The size and shape is just right.

Maybe ill see if i can get another set made, and maybe more, seems others would be interested.

It looks to me like they were made out of aluminum flat stock. Neat idea really.
Yep, really looks good with the aluminum trim on the doors! Once you got the shape and length right, seems like it wouldn't be too hard to make these(especially if you had a jig/pattern to master them from).

Those look great, and wouldnt be too hard to copy since you have a set to go off of. Aluminum flat bar is cheap and a little bit of polish would shine em up to match the rest of the trim.

hmmm.....laser etch for more customisation? [hint]

I've thought about the whole base of that strip on the door in wood or aluminum customized.
