I tried searching, but really only found mentions to 6.5 and wider rims. I have a 1983 c10 Suburban Silverado has the original stock (6" rims) I believe. 235/75/15 tires currently on it. Id really like to go ja bit wider 255-265 width if possible but either my searching sucks or its not feasible since i couldn't find posts on anyone doing it. I just feel like the 235 are so narrow and small and look awkward from the front/back of the suburban, along with not a lot of contact patch for grip. I thought about trying the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S at 265/75R15, since that was the only listed wider size they have, but worried that may be a bit to wide for 6" rims? Open to safe opinions and suggestions. I am trying to avoid investing in purchasing wider rims but maybe Its a requirement accommodate wider tires?
