Just wondering what people are running on a mild 350? I have no problem with considering the 2bbl version. Also, any suggestions on brand? Thanks

I've never seen an aftermarket EFI that comes in 2bbl. You can get modified aftermarket TBI systems, but why bother?

Having driven GM products for 40 years, I can say I have owned quite a few, some with both 2 barrels and others with 4 barrels. Just saying, a quadrajet has small primaries designed with economy in mind; part of the famous deep howl of the secondary is due to their large opening. When driven under normal conditions, I never noticed any real difference in gas mileage between the two, but I did with the performance.

OEM TBI all the way...
Comes down to $$ vs $$$$.

Email TBIchips, call Norm or Affordable or Painless, get your mind right and think it over carefully.
Whomever you choose and the rout you go, is no small decision. Try not to change your mind, once you pick your hole count.

Good Luck!

Sniper efi 650 is what I'd use on a mild 350 I've put them on many vehicles and they are so simple to instal I just ordered a super sniper 650 for my k25 with 454. The 650 series will be perfect for your setup. And very easy to program to your vehicle. I've used other brands and have been disappointed with the outcome

Thanks for the reply’s. I’m getting the truck this weekend. I know it has a stock component rebuilt 350 with a mild cam. My Father passed and I’m inheriting the truck. I know it has an edelbrock on it. I think he had a free 750 on it and swapped it out for a 600. If it is a 600, I try to follow the articles on tuning it.
Hers an example of 2bbl aftermarket fuel injection.

Stay as far away from anything made by fitech as you possibly can. Just when you think your far enough away, take 7 more steps back.

Holley has some smaller systems as well if you don't want the standard 4150 style.
