I just inherited a 79 Jimmy out of Yuma AZ all original one owner and not sure what to do with it. I live in Northern Utah and have a 86 C10 I’m having fun with and realistically I can’t afford to play with both . What would you Do ?

If I inherited a square and had already bought one I would at the least sell my current square and build my inherited one, if not swap over some drivetrain stuff if I needed to. That is only if I couldn't keep both. Which I am in a position to have multiple, so I may be biased.

I understand some people don't have storage space or can't afford storage space. If that is the problem then it's just what you really want in the end.

A 4x4 blazer is more valuable in my opinion, especially a one owner that looks pretty solid, just needs some love. The general public would probably prefer a c10 over a k5 but real collectors or lovers of squares or classics would most likely keep the k5

I’m hoping to get an offer I can’t refuse. I’ve already been scammed $900 trying to ship it here from AZ to UT .
it’s all there and never been out of the Sonoran desert so I’m not sure what it’s worth. I just know I’m in already a grand and I haven’t even got it here . If I leave it in Arizona it will probably be picked apart because it’s a square body sitting in the corner . Thanks for your input I’m new and wasn’t sure how fast I would hear from someone

A 4x4 Blazer is easily 10,000,000 times more desirable. No question. Sell the c10 and embrace the k5. Consider yourself lucky to have one.
*or sell it to me.

I'm a 4WD guy, so personally I'd go with the K5. A rust free K5 is a great starting point for someone. The nice thing is the patina is great on that truck, I would just due the mechanicals on it and clean up the interior.

If a 4WD is just not your thing, sell it and use the funds to build the newer truck. Just do some thinking before you sell. I could have had some nice vehicles from my grandparents and passed. I have regretted it for 20 years.

I say just donate it to a worthy cause. Just encase you don't know of any.... I run the Mr Clean foundation. It's a wonderful organization we help, and rehabilitate old wayward Squarebodies. We clean them up, and give them a new lease on life. A life with purpose, and enjoyment. If you want just go ahead and call the shipping company and have it delivered to Texas... I'll even pay for the shipping, I'm just that kind of guy... I'm a helper...

get the tires aired up, scuff it a bit, put a coat of primer on it, THEN think about it.
