Good morning. Would anybody on here know if the stock Delco radios in our squares can be calibrated to the correct frequency that corresponds to the numbers on the face? I listen to a station that's at frequency 95.7 but sits at about the 92 frequency.

Hi, Yeah I used these guys to redo the radio in my 1988 Blazer. www.turnswitch.com or this company, I see them @ Hershey most every year Retro Radio Restorations 1. 717-367-1428. Just got my Hemmings magazine last week.

For most of these older radios, the dial pointer is just a metal piece that runs on a cable around two pulleys, and the tuning knob is connected to one of the pulleys.

If you remove the radio and take off the radio face plate, you can usually either move the pointer on the cable, or slide the entire cable assembly either way on the pulleys. I've done it on table radios, and its relatively easy, but I'm not sure exactly how it works for a car radio.
