Hey folks, converting the old R12 system to R134a and I've searched a lot on this site and had some of my questions answered, but have these two remaining.
1. Orifice tube. It's normally suggested to replace the tube. If I look in the ACDelco online catalog, I see several orifice tubes that are recommended for my truck (based on climate, etc.). Are all orifice tubes that are sold new compatible with R134a? (Not an older NOS tube, but something manufactured today as an ACDelco replacement part).
2. Seal Ring Conversion kit - Similar question. There is an ACDelco kit (15-2551GM) for O-ring and seal replacement. If newly made, can I assume that these O-rings are R134a compatible?
Thanks for the help!
