I wanted to suggest that AC Delco pump into your stock tank but i'm not 100% it's necessary.

Are you certain an LT1 requires much higher pressure than that your existing pump can create? I'm not. TBI fuel pressure requirement is pretty damned low but I do not know what an LT1 requires.

Knowing that would be helpful because I dont think it's too much either.

I thought there was something or specific instance, that required swapping to the newer tanks LIKE when transplanting to run a Vortex....but that's a lot different than an LT1..

Total disclosure says I do NOT know exactly wtf I'm talking about.

I would never encourage anyone to put an lt1 into anything that didn't leave the factory with an lt1, and even then it's iffy.

However it looks like you are doing this so you need a fuel pump that puts out 41-47 psi to the rail.

You will need a longer throttle cable as well as trans detent cable. You will also want a fuel filter that will support the higher pressure, no biggie. Headers may be iffy as the LT1 has D shaped exhaust ports, might have to change exhaust flange not positive though. Good luck
