I wanted to suggest that AC Delco pump into your stock tank but i'm not 100% it's necessary.
Are you certain an LT1 requires much higher pressure than that your existing pump can create? I'm not. TBI fuel pressure requirement is pretty damned low but I do not know what an LT1 requires.
Knowing that would be helpful because I dont think it's too much either.
I thought there was something or specific instance, that required swapping to the newer tanks LIKE when transplanting to run a Vortex....but that's a lot different than an LT1..
Total disclosure says I do NOT know exactly wtf I'm talking about.
