Hello it's been about 18 years since I was able to say I was in the club but today I finally made it back.

"Picked up" my new 1990 'Burban. Only 2 owners previously, the lady I bought it from and her father. They used it mainly to pull horse trailers.

SLE full power/buckets/console/overhead console, factory tow package, 350, barn doors, 127k miles. It runs and drives really nice. Needs shocks, brake mc is rusty, some other 'minor' issues.

Stored inside and pretty straight but salt has gotten to some of the rockers etc. and of course it has the white paint/primer failure of the era.

It's a second vehicle plus I have several motorcycles so it will be able to get the TLC it deserves and be brought right back into goin'-to-town-rig status over the next couple of years. Thinking of calling her Betty White if it's not taken by too many already.

Looks like the forum is pretty active. Looking forward to learning and contributing when I can. I think this is my 7th Square. Thanks for having me.

Looks just like the one we had except ours was light metallic blue on the sides. Same running gear and equipment though!
If you need/want an extra set of those wheelcovers, I have a set for sale. I restored the paint on the emblems, and never got them back on the Burb.

Thanks for the welcome and the offer but I have already gotten an offer from a buddy of 5 of these for free so the originals might end up in storage.

Cool! Those would look good on my crew cab too.....
If you decide to use these, be sure to get the correct lug nuts. Most aftermarket wheels use a shouldered nut with a washer, not the conical base lugs like the factory steel wheels use. And I'd suggest investing in a set of wheel lock nuts too.
