Out of curiosity, I just noticed "subdominant"

What's the story on that name?

I was hoping someone would ask! I am into music. Play the bass trombone. The subdominant is the name of the chord based off of the fourth scale degree. If you ever heard the term one-four-five-one (I-IV-V-I) then you know this is the most common chord progression in modern western music. So.... with that said, I also incorporated my love of Suburbans so the name SubDominant!

Hope that explains it!

Welcome! Those are some comfy looking seats! Mold aside of course.

Anyone know if those are stock GMC seats? They look like upfitter/conversion seats to me.

Suuuper comfy. But the wife could not get passed the mold.... or the rat turds buried in the cracks!!

This Suburban is a Grand Prix edition. I think that is an aftermarket modification done to Suburbans.

Came with all kinds of goodies - that were left to rot away into a crumbling mess...

included the very plush seats. They actually are not bad. The mold was in the seat pockets on the backs of the seats.

The third row seat was in great condition and folds out to make a bed.

They'd be great with some deep cleaning, covers or reupholstering... Just sitting in my garage and soon will be going to the junker if I don't find a taker. I have other plans on seating in the 'Burb.

Really cool! Those seats would be great for an overlander but yea they will need some work. What are you going to do about replacement seats?

Cadillac CTS in the front (done!). 2001 Yukon seats for 2nd row (mocked up). 2001 Yukon 3rd row (haven't even looked at it).

Not a bad setup. GMT800 seats were the last comfy GM truck seats IMO.

edit: In my mind I read Cadillac Escalade. Lets get some info on that CTS seat swap!

Will do. I need to do a write-up on it. Had three different plans before I figured out the real deal on how to get the CTS seats in front. Again, the 2nd row I will have to stare at and think on for a while before it materializes. Here is a picture of the seats I used:

And just sitting in the Burb. Had to leave it there and go over in my mind what it would take to install.

I have to find a way to embed pictures that way everyone will be able to see them without clicking on a link. Any suggestions?
