I have a 87 3/4 ton 2wd suburban, TH400 and a 454. has 4:10 gears . Is it worth the time to install a 700R4, already have a rebuilt one, to improve MPG and cruising speed?
Have the trans and the TBI linkage to the transmission. I am sure I can make the crossmember fit, not sure about the driveline length.
Or better to sell the truck, 145,600 miles, and get a newer one if I can find one or a 2500 pick up 2wd.
