87 headlight bezel color ?

What color dupli-color can silver can i use to paint headlight bezels ? Truck is a 87 model...
How can i prep the bezels for paint ?
I was go pick up a can of paint today but i seen six different shades of silver...

Any help will be appeciated.

Mine was a darker color than the argent silver. Bought the GM repops from LMC and they were the proper color. Not sure which colors go with which years, but there are two colors, lighter and darker. The bezels match the grille.

Definitely the lighter color. Go to your local body shop paint supply house, they should be able to help.

I didn't want to paint the center bar the body color. I found a vinyl for the center of the grill, then found a paint to match. In my case it was a Chrysler color.
