Hey guys ! Well im back ! Now that I have a very light wallet now after fixing the shop i'd like to try to get back to my truck. While I was fixing the shop I was doing some thinking about buttercup and I had a thought about the exhaust system. If I used exhaust manifolds for a 92 - 350 block would I be able to use a Y-pipe from a 92 as well ? Or would I have to use exhaust manifolds and Y-pipe for an 86 - 350 block because of clearance issues ?

I think the GMT400 manifolds flare out differently. Don't even think they would fit in the frame of a squarebody.

Right, the square body frame rails are spaced closer together than the GMT400.
