I have 86 k10 with a 89 corvette block, gm 113 aluminum heads. I was told by the previous owner that it was a zz4. Its not a true zz4 crate engine, and I dont know the cam specs. I am about to pull one of the heads due to coolant leaks. The engine only has about 4,000 miles. I am trying to figure out what head gasket I need. The zz4 calls for .051". The gap between block and heads measures .032" to .034" with a feeler gauge. What thickness head gasket should I purchase? It has stock pistons

You need to find out how far below cylinder deck surface the cylinders are parked. Ideal clearance from the top of the puston to the head is .039
