85 Crew Cab Dually

Frame off restoration in progress. Looking to get rid of the modified frame so I can build a new one and put this body around 3-4 inches above factory ride height.

12 Valve Cummins and a 6 speed manual transmission gonna push this beast down the road.

I’m a full time designer, fabricator/machinist of industrial parts and equipment for the process industry…..boring, but crucial parts. Big plans for this build with lots of one-off components. Turning 40 years old soon and plan to make the most of a mid-life crisis hahaaaa!

Is the frame notched for the lowering? Just thinking, if you're going to fart around with the frame maybe consider making a shortbox with the dually fenders and all. It would look stunning.

Or get the narrow rear dually setup the cab only option trucks had. Then a fleetside box (with ample tubs on the inside) !

I liked for the truck as im not a fan of diesel or scummins swaps, especially in squares but thats what makes the world unique so go for it.
