honestly though this jig perfect for the camaro, I should have built mine to flip the other side up, more spots on the pass side and that's the side down low on the floor.

Even on the low side, it's way better than laying on your back.

hat you were looking at was a rotted away outer lip on the outer wheel house and the back side of the rocker not sure if it had a layer of steel on the end of it as well or if it was open and only the wheel well covered it?

That and the crap patch on the lower front 1/4's over 1/4 inch of fiberglass, welds every inch or so not solid just tacks, and bondo slapped over it all.

I know that one is hard to tell with paint over it now to avoid rust, but was trying to show th ehuge dip in it where one meets th eother with no weld, and right in the middle of that piece had a big dip and was tacked with a huge glob of filler pokin thru the inside. That and the rotted off outer 1/4 lip in the middle of the good old part and the crap they threw on.

and here was have the rear 1/4 where again just tacks and you can clearly see the lines where the 2 meet and are only tacked. That and the patch panel they had made, you can see the tacks and the filler, and I tested it two quick grabs on the end one down one up and it broke free. The split the sides for reliefs cuts to go in the wheel well but never welded them just slapped filler over it as well. Now comes the questions, will the replacments cover far enough? doubtfull these go to the body line. AND if so, then it's gonna need 1/4 skins. Also notice inside the rocker lol, actually looks good from what I saw.

I wonder if the rust went up that high, or if they just made a patch that big for the hell of it.

This is for sale at a car lot, across the street from a hotel I'm staying at. Figured you might want to see it.

There's also a '71 Camaro and a couple C3 Vettes, among other things.

is that a round headlight like 75/76 or the cat eye 77/78? I'd like to get a cat eye nose to use.

Looks about as rusty as mine LOL.

I know what to look forward to on the front fenders, they were cut and patched too. I'm also worried the doors have tons of bondo down low.

The list just got huge of course.

Looks like I mot likely need 2 1/4's
2 outer wheel houses
2 trunk drop offs
maybe 2 fender patches, or other fenders, or maybe grind off and fill in their welds?
MAYBE 2 door skins just depends on what I find.
tail pan for sure, the inner part, not sure on the outer big portion yet.
Plus the pass full pan just about
driver's rear pan
DS torque box
plus some patches in the PS rear torqye box area in back under the car, on top of the box inside, the 1/4 inside and the driver's front toe board, also some on the front torque box or brace area of the firewall.

and the roof, ggeeeezz be all new metal everywhere, be a brand new car basically. It would have been shorter to list what original metal will stay, firewall, trunk floor, pilars LOL

If those rear window louvers still have their original clips/brackets they might be worth some money. Those wrap-around models are hard to come by with all their hardware. I've got a set in my attic I will NEVER get rid of lol.

The picture I posted is a '76. For how rusty the quarter panels are, I was shocked when I crawled around under the car. It's solid as can be under there. 4 speed and shaker hood too.

And the louvers we're still attached well.

Saw a T/A today with big "Thunderchicken" on the hood. Very early stage of restoration.

Couldn't get any pictures. Camera screen on phone washed out in the sunshine so I couldn't see ****.

But I saw it.
