Ahh **** are you kidding me??? Some people are so damn stupid. Notice there are several sets of bolt holes? That is so you can BOLT in motor pads for a Chevy engine, a Buick Engine, and Olds Engine. So get out the ginder and fix what some ******* screwed up !!!:crazy:

**** the bed Agnus !!! That just sucks !!! Anyway to get another frame cheap?? I know its probably not really a big deal, but I'm a picky SOB, and if I am doing a frame off restore, I want **** perfect or not at all. JMO. Chances are you can smooth out the grind marks on the motor pads. Not gonna show anyway by the time you get a motor in place, and the chunk is likley hidden too under the body.

Damn, you better give up that popcorn 89S.

I think I'd punt that area MBP. I don't see how you'd ever get it right. I'd be looking for another car in the junk yard and cut a piece of body out. Tack weld it in then smooth it out with fibrefiller. I think I'd take it right around the edge there where it meets in the door pillar and stop it right there at a square edge. Then I'd put a bead of paintable sealer or caulk over it to hide the seem. After paint, I bet noone would even notice.

x2 cut it out and find a patch from a donor online or something. That or maybe they got a repair panel? I know they have the lower section in repair panels and full 1/4's etc. not sure on something other then a full 1/4 to repair it.

I'd check some f-bomb forums for a parts car or junkyards local for it. I think a camaro is the same right? Maybe even way back to like 70 the first year of that body style would work.
