I've actually thought about using a Holley 2bbl myself on one of my builds, but I have so many things to build and so many ideas. The reason for the Holley 2bbl would be adapt it to a factory TBI manifold. I think it would be very effecient,I'm betting GM did their homework on torque and efficiency on the TBI manifold. For my 86 I've often thought, 90 Burb exhaust,700r4,stone stock TBI 350, knock sensor HEI and Holley 2BBL. I bet it would get surprising mpg and still be a good work truck
Build it!

Last night I found a motel to stay in a couple hours from home, to get a head start on this morning's drive. Got to park right outside my room door @SirRobyn0

Averaged 15mpg for much of the trip too.
NICE I still love a good motel stay. Nice choice of cars to take on the trip too.

Report back if you stop by, it will be cool to know the reaction.

So I stopped in there this morning, I didn't even have to go inside. He came outside when I pulled in, with a big grin on his face. He absolutely loved how the car has turned out and the fact that it's getting used for so much enjoyment. He also took pictures of it, to send to Frank that had owned the car for so long.

Also, much of this morning was spent following this C10 that reminded me of Crusty Biscuit.

So the wagon has officially done all of power tour and it went off without a hitch. The car ran absolutely flawlessly. Like, perfectly. I could not have asked it to run better. The worst thing that has happened was a speedo cable that makes a minor amount of noise, on occasion.

Pretty damn good for a 50 year old car with it's original driveline that sat unloved and untouched for like 25 years.

Oh yeah, and a Pontiac Can Am parked next to me today. That may be the last time anyone will ever see a Can Am parked next to an SS wagon. I believe they are the two rarest models of '73-'77 A-bodies (not entirely sure) and there were not many of either.

My uncle had one of those when I was probably 5 or 6. I remember climbing all over that thing and jumping from the roof to the hood. I should kick my own ass for that.....lol

I drove the wagon to the Columbus Goodguys show today, I went with a buddy and his '69 Camaro. When I got home, there was shenanigans in the driveway.
