I'm quite sure your 205 is the figure 8 pattern? You need the later 6 bolt round pattern 205. That's a much bigger issue than the input shaft. Or consider a round pattern 208.
I'm not sure which I have, will have to look in the morning. I am not sure how to tell which is which though.

Well the nv4500 never came with a figure 8 pattern so that's that. Your challenge will be to find a round pattern 205 or spring for an adapter. It comes down to time vs. money. For what it's worth, all the guts of the early figure 8 205 fit directly into the later round 6 bolt pattern 205 so all you really need is the later case.

I will watch for one, just need to know what I am looking for. I am in no hurry, just gathering parts right now. I hope to start rebuilding the truck next year.
