I recently bought a 6.2 diesel from an 88 k3500 it should be a j code engine. The only thing i am really wondering about is the flywheel i got with it. i have never seen one with springs on the back side of it, also i dont think i should be able to rotate to two halves. also is the clutch and pressure plate 6.2 specific?

Looks to be a dual mass flywheel.

Isn't the plate with the springs the pressure plate? That what it looks like to me. I couldn't tell ya why it's stuck on the flywheel though.

I am pretty sure it is a duall mass flywheel. I have not ran the part number on it yet. Also it is broken so i need to find a 6.2 diesel flywheel. Two of the springs in it are very loose and that is why it is able to rotate.
