So I've used the same corner brackets

You must be registered for see images attach

as several people here but don't like the sound of my 6x9s. I think it is because there is too much air behond them not allowing any real mids or lows to come through. Has anybody found an enclosure/pod to help with this?

How about Boom Mats? I use them in the doors of my truck. Mainly for rain, but they do add more bass.

How about Boom Mats? I use them in the doors of my truck. Mainly for rain, but they do add more bass.

I wondered how these worked. They look flimsy so I wasn't sure. Really anything that will keep shape and how let the speaker be so freee air would probbaly work.
I did see someone took these and put fiberglass around them to make them rigid.
