Hey guys... what 6×9s will work in the cab corner with the tinworks mounts ?

I been told that all of them wouldnt work due to the magnet being too thick.

I want to put a good pair of 6×9s un the truck but i want to make sure they wiill work before i purchase a pair.

Like this. They fit. Thing is the magnets on these speakers seem to me to be on the small side.

Can't see behind speakers as mounted. There not touching as there's no vibration on the outside corners or metallic rattles up loud.
To me they sound good. They're brand new. I like to hear the truck run and the traffic around me so I don't crank'um all the way up.

Pretty cheap speakers really. Well rated.
Individual user experience may vary.

6x9’s fit nicely in the corners. I’ve done this setup on a few squares

Go with the Infinity Reference speakers. They sound incredible, and don't have giant magnets. Should work. They are also 3 ohms, so you get a little more juice out of your stereo.

I believe they are JBL. I originally wanted Kenwood because I have a vintage Kenwood radio, but couldn’t find a 6x9 Kenwood at Best Buy, so I went with what they had on the shelf that had the best sound

Yeah I am installing a pair of 3.5” infinity reference speakers in the dash today in place of the single 4x10. I am all in on infinity. Have used everything out there and think they are the most musical and best sounding speakers out. If you buy on Amazon they have a bunch of them in the Amazon renewed store. It’s how I have gotten my last couple sets. Basically paid half and they were new still in plastic. Great deal.

Sorry , but to measure that I'd have to drill out the rivets that I used mount the brackets and remove the small bolts I used with lock washers and locktite to mount the speakers to the bracket. I
I didn't want them coming loose and I ain't taking it apart.
I don't see a way to mount the brackets first then the speaker.
I used low rear profile speakers to give me the best chance of fitting. I read reviews where people used spacers between the speaker and bracket to get them to fit.
