I mean, you could just get a suburban. Maybe cut a few inches off the ass and shorten the wheelbase if you don't want something as long as the 'burb. Why would one ever need a 4 door K5? Kinda defeats the whole purpose of the truck IMO

People somewhat commonly graft the rear of a K5 with the removable top onto the back of a Suburban. Google "blazurban". Looks like a really long 4 door K5.

If that image is even ballpark close to how things would actually fit together, once you factor in whatever jamb work is cobbled together, the opening at the bottom will be too small to even get your feet through.
I've seen one or two people put a crew cab onto a K5 frame, but it was just the cab, with no bed at all. From what I remember, both times they installed 56" rear springs and ran them backwards to easily move the axle back 4". There was still significant hacking into the back doors, but they were usable.

Nope. It's a modified brochure, the original was a Suburban. The original title is "Superwagon" iirc.
