350 SBC Headers

To my understanding, if you get headers for a small block you normally have to do something with the starter (get a smaller one) in order to actually fit headers onto your 350. If this myth is true, are there any good headers out there that i can get for the small block without having to downgrade and be able to keep my original, working like an ace starter? thanks

You don't necessarily have to change your starter. Most headers allow clearance around the starter, but the headers do end up very close, and can be more prone to heat soaking your starter. A heat shield can alleviate that problem. And even though your original starter is working awesome, the modern day smaller mini starters actually have more cranking ability than your original, so they are not a downgrade.
